Youtube Introdeuced Video Editing Feature

In an Official log post, YouTube Software Engineer John Gregg announced this much awaited feature of “Video Editing” on Wednesday September 14, 2011.
Until now, when you uploaded to YouTube, you were able to host and share only, but could not change or edit your videos. If you wanted to trim off the end, swap out the soundtrack, or tried to add an effect, you had to edit your video using a separate program offline and upload the edited videos to Youtube again.
Now you can edit your uploaded videos right on Youtube and maintain the same video IDs. This view count and comments will remain intact, and all existing links to your video will continue to work. It is no more required to upload the videos again and again after editing.
This new feature will be available to all Youtube users globally.
How Youtube Video Editing Work
1- Just click Edit video on the video’s page or on your My Videos page when you are logged in:

2- You can stabilize your hand-held footage, rotate a video, and boost the contrast and colors.
Try “I’m Feeling Lucky” for 1-click color correction:

3- Or if you’re looking for a more dramatic change, try one of the New aesthetic effects developed by Youtube in association with Picnik

When you are done with editing, just click the Save utton to begin processing of new effects on your video. And if you don’t like the new edition in your edited version, Do not fear, you can revert to the original video in just 1 click and save again. You can also save your edited video into a new video and try out multiple versions of same video with different effcts.
Note: Popular videos with over 1,000 views and videos with third-party content can only be saved as new videos once edited by using Youtube Video Editing feature.
